Art glass production process

1. Drawing and zooming stage

After surveying, consulting, designing and choosing a painting model for production, the first stage is that the artist has to draw and project the picture onto the glass that has been glued with 2 layers of white decan in a ratio of 1:1.
 

After the paintings are engraved into the glass surface, they will be cleaned and then glued with a layer of white decan so that the image can be engraved according to the engraved strokes. The engraving must match and be soft with the engraving.

At this stage, the artist is required to draw by hand, ensuring that the drawings are sharp, the layout is harmonious and complete, based on the existing sample paintings. Not all sample paintings are beautiful, so often artists have to create and feel according to their personal aesthetic. After drawing and zooming the image will proceed to sculpt according to the stroke, the stroke must be even and sharp according to the drawing, then the new engraving will ensure the best drawing.

2. Engraving pictures

The engraving process requires the craftsman to think backwards because the pattern of the painting being engraved is the reverse of the later glass picture. The engraving must be clear, the depth depends on the position before and after and the degree of accuracy. of textures.

3. Color scheme

After the painting is finished, the painting will be painted according to the sample picture. The color of the glass painting is a specialized, light-transparent paint, which is different from the color of ordinary ink or paint, so it requires the artist to have a good sense of color and tone. The color scheme follows the principle of dithering directly on the glass under the influence of light, so it is dark, light and dark, the space will depend entirely on the hand controlling the paint spray gun and brush of the artist.

After color matching and finishing, we will post-coat 2 layers of high-quality glossy paint, ensuring adhesion, moisture resistance, no fading. For non-translucent paintings, only one side looks like hanging close to the wall, lacks light on the back side, will be covered with 2 more layers of two-component white paint, anti-mildew, non-fading, can withstand get outdoor weather.

Glass paintings have white, colorless etched glass paintings and stained glass paintings with 2 types of Translucent and Non-translucent paintings.
